5. Review your order summary on the right-hand side (or at the top of the page on mobile).

Our ice cream cakes can be stored in the freezer for up to 2–3 weeks. To keep it tasting its best, make sure the cake is well-wrapped or kept in an airtight container to prevent freezer burn and preserve its creamy texture. 🍦❄️

Absolutely! We create ice cream cakes for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, graduations, corporate events, and more. You can add a personalised message and choose from our wide range of special occasion designs, including countless custom creations made just for your celebration! 🎂✨

We take allergies very seriously and do our best to accommodate special requests. Many of our cakes can be made nut-free, egg-free, or gluten-friendly upon request — just let us know when ordering, under the Special Instructions on the cake page.

However, please note that all our cakes are prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs, so while we take great care to avoid cross-contamination, traces may still be present. If a guest has a severe allergy, we recommend exercising caution.

For cakes cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order, we charge a $20 admin and restocking fee, and the rest of the amount is refunded, including any delivery costs.

We do offer 100% Store Credit for up to 12 months for cakes cancelled after 24 hours but 72 hours before the original pickup date and time.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds or cancellations after 24 hours of placing the order, as preparation and ingredients are already underway. We truly appreciate your understanding — every cake is made fresh just for you. 🍦🎂

We offer over 1,000 unique ice cream cake designs, each handcrafted to order. Every cake can be made with at least two Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavours of your choice. For that extra personal touch, we also create edible image cakes — from photo cakes to themed designs like Disney Princess, Pokémon, Paw Patrol, and more.

Keep your ice cream cake in the freezer until you are ready to serve it. For best results, take it out of the freezer 10–15 minutes before serving to allow it to soften slightly.

We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, and Apple Pay.

Our vegan cakes sometimes tend to develop a crack because of the vegan frosting. Vegan frosting doesn’t contain any dairy or buttercream fat, which results in this texture. The cake is perfectly fine to eat and there is nothing wrong with the cake in any capacity.

For last-minute cakes and same-day orders, Ice Cream Cakes Adelaide holds the right to swap the flavours if needed to complete them on time, since certain flavours take too long to freeze.

Our ice cream cakes are delivered in modified cars/vans to ensure they arrive frozen and in perfect condition. Please ensure the cake is stored in the freezer upon receipt.

We take great care in preparing and packaging every cake to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. In the rare case your cake arrives damaged, please contact us within 2 hours of receiving it with clear photos of the issue. Our team will review it right away and do our best to make things right.

Because our cakes are perishable and handmade, we’re unable to offer refunds for minor cosmetic variations — but if there’s a genuine issue, we’ll always do our best to help.

Yes! We offer weekend deliveries between 8 AM and 3 PM across Adelaide. We always aim to deliver your cake 1–3 hours before the start of your event, so it arrives fresh, frozen, and ready to serve.

Yes — we do offer next-day delivery across Adelaide on selected cakes! Orders must be placed before 11 AM on the day, and availability may vary based on location and design. Since each cake is handmade to order, some custom designs may require extra preparation time.

If no one is available, we may:

🏠 Leave the cake with a trusted person (e.g., neighbour, security, apartment manager).
❌ We will NOT leave the cake unattended, since it needs to be stored in the freezer.

If no one is available, it will be returned to our Ben & Jerry’s Adelaide CBD store for next business day collection.

Yes, we do offer same-day pickups — as long as your order is placed before 11 AM and pickup is scheduled after 5 PM. This allows enough time for your ice cream cake to freeze and set properly before decorating, which can take 3–6 hours depending on the flavours selected. We offer same-day pickup on selected ready-made cakes, depending on availability at our Ben & Jerry’s Adelaide CBD store. A $10 same-day preparation fee applies.
